Marions occupational therapy

I have always associated ergotherapy with peeling cucumbers, stroking animals, shaving the face or feeding ducks in guided movements. I often did this with coma patients whom I cared for in outpatient intensive care.  And now? When I was told to do OT I saw mountains of cucumber salad in my mind’s eye. But tying ribbons, making small buttons or photographing still works quite well. Only the power on the right side is missing something. Therefore I have my own OT and I hope it is just as effective.

So, at the latest, when some of the eggs get up and go through the drain during an egg race, it’s time again to train the fine motor skills a little bit more or find another technique to crack eggs. Meanwhile I can break them with one hand.

Most of the time I start to tinker or take pictures because my camera has many small switches and my lenses have only one manual focus (Lensbaby/Lomo Petzval/ Neptun Art Lenses)!  When I moved, I took all my unfinished handicrafts with me. Except for my crown cork collection.  I had a small IKEA table with crown cork stuck and it was missing only the joint. The uncle was kind enough to do that.  Thanks 😉

Apart from that I have a lot of fun at the moment with pictures with Preisermännchen. These are 16 mm big and I put them in scene or they are part of a scene in a deep picture frame. They are glued there with Ponal. In addition, they are illuminated by small chains of lights. It then looks as if you turn on the lights in the living room!

Friends, relatives, all those who wanted one also got one or two.

I hope it will take a little longer until I have to change to peeling cucumbers.

And of course there are also some in and in front of the stadium but this is not an exhibition.
