Like a dead horse

I woke up like every day. It’s clear to me that I need a little time to reach my “operating temperature”. Then I realized: Coffee is out…

The heat was foreseeable (it was still early) so I decided to water the garden. Then I went out into the garden and noticed that I felt like a feather and I moved like this too. Like a feather thrown out of the window, on the tenth floor. Zero power, zero balance. Like a blind woman staggering along the wall I staggered into my room. Blood pressure in sitting = like a dead horse. Blood pressure while standing = the device constantly shows Error… means as good as not present.

But I have to go to the speech therapy in one hour. Until then I threw something into my mouth and arrived there, I took the stairs to “crank”. Back home it went a little better.

Learn: eat something in the morning, the main thing is something in your stomach. I boiled some eggs and bought some biscuits. In the morning you could chase me with the food and the thoughts to eat something alone make me sick. So it must be something simple that I can throw into my mouth. And coffee is certainly not bad – so never consume the whole stock again and forget to buy more. And do something for your blood pressure right afterwards. For example, I drink buttermilk and frozen berry mix from the blender (against the heat) and do balance exercises.

Blood pressure is an issue for all of us. For stubborn cases, compression stockings are recommended, prescribed by a doctor and measure and made in a medical supply store, compression belts for the torso (after eating it is especially recommended if the blood pressure falls a little anyway), additional salt in the food also raises the blood pressure, and sleep with raised head.

Do not give up, fight against the disease, every day. It is sometimes frightening, but without trying, we do not accept any setback. I think so often: what went yesterday must go also today.

Take care of yourselves – especially in this insane heat….
